class=\"s1\">you\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">are\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">inflamed<\/span> with love<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">And\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">glistening\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">one<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Residing in it [<i>al-Madina<\/i>], <span class=\"s1\">surrounded\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">by all\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">his\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">followers<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Home to the one whose heart is <span class=\"s1\">preoccupied\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">with<\/span> his love<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">For his remembrance is to the heart is like a meadow and grassland<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Home to the most exalted of creation, beautiful of character and form<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Home to he who, in creation, gives and holds back<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">And [he is] the best of them in <span class=\"s1\">himself<\/span>, in relation by marriage, and in descent<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">In knowledge and in manners,\u00a0 most mindful and most <span class=\"s1\">reverent<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Indeed, he is the best of creation in absolute magnificence and splendour.<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Awe-inspiring<\/span>,\u00a0 in his gait, he strides powerfully<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">[He is] R<span class=\"s1\">osy\u00a0<\/span>of colour and black of eye<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">putting to shame the eye of the wild cow grazing in the bush<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">Large<span class=\"s3\">-eyed<\/span>, with long lashes, and broad of brow is the Messenger of God,<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">and his character is more expansive<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">with eyebrows fine and curved, the face of TaHa is round<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">and his beard is thick, and his chest, wide<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">His shoulders are broad, and his bones large<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">and of stocky build is the sublime TaHa<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">Likewise his biceps are large, and large are his forearms<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">His palms are welcoming\/generous and shine with lights<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">his fingers were long and unclipped<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">and thick, these are among his sublime features<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">his teeth are white, and they shine forth when he smiles<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">like grains of white clouds or the flashing lightning<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">The hair on his head is luxurious and manly<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">and he is soft-spoken and silent, for he is reverent<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">and his sorrows are connected to his contemplation<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">and if he speaks, he speaks goodness and the truth that is due<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">he but glances\u00a0and he prevails over the earth<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">he leads his companions and the angels follow him<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">And the neck of the Messenger of God resembles a doll<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">When he separates his hair, it [neck] shines and glows<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Like the hidden pearls, and its smell is like musk<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">for there is n<\/span>one altogether like the Messenger of God in fortune<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">the\u00a0<\/span>Most clement of God\u2019s creatures and most just of His creation<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Among people, most generous is he, [and] even the bravest [of them]<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">He serves families, mends [sews] his sandal<span class=\"s1\">s<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">He <i>cuts<\/i> meats and he patches clothes<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">So modest, that he answers to whoever calls upon him<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">For his anger is only for his Master (<i>Mawla<\/i>), and he returns to The <i>Truth\u00a0<\/i><\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">He never refrained from that which is lawful even if it were pleasant<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">And he was not consumed<span class=\"s3\">, in most times, with <\/span>satiating his appetite<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Sometimes he rides on horses<span class=\"s2\">\u060c<\/span> <span class=\"s1\">at<\/span> times<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">On donkeys, and sometimes on foot he walks, striding briskly<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">And likewise his clothing was fragrant with perfume<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">He sits with [different] groups, while voices are yet raised<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Sometimes he jokes, at other <span class=\"s1\">t<\/span>imes, he creates bonds of friendship<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Never did he fear any king, for indeed his state\u00a0is lofty<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">He never despised the poor, but invited them all<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">And by <span class=\"s1\">God,<\/span> the Master of creation, he brings together creation<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">The Master honoured him with the <span class=\"s1\">greatest\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">of\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">honours<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">And He singled him out as the one who benefits creation<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Upon him be the <span class=\"s1\">blessings\u00a0<\/span>of God as long as [the sun] shines forth from\u00a0the East<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">And [as long as] the <span class=\"s1\">doves<\/span> sing on the branches cooing<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">And as long as the dust of time is repelled from the place which<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">adorns his praises with song and rhyme<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">And upon his family and companions as long as the words of the longing lover\u00a0[ask]<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">Did lightning flash towards the meadows,
