{"id":40,"date":"2008-11-24T21:53:48","date_gmt":"2008-11-25T01:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/studentgov\/?p=40"},"modified":"2008-11-24T21:53:48","modified_gmt":"2008-11-25T01:53:48","slug":"financial-services-committee-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/studentgov\/2008\/11\/24\/financial-services-committee-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Financial Services Committee update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gregory Dworkowitz, a student representative on the Financial Services committee, reports:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had our first meeting last week.\u00a0 We focused primarily on the SFS website, brainstorming ways to simplify the internal site, make it more user-friendly, and help the office run more smoothly.\u00a0 This is a big project and will occupy much of our time this year.\u00a0 We also reviewed the data from the last year and projections for this year, focusing on early response to the PSI.\u00a0 Finally we spoke about the Harvard endowment and any impact its fluctuations might have on our mission.\u00a0 This was just a preliminary discussion, as we don\u2019t yet know what the budget will look like going forward.
