But last week it was officially cleaned out and ready for this weekend’s open house.

So I made up for lost time by being so social that I’m exhausted. It started Friday night when I went to a Thai restaurant in the Fenway with Rich and the graduating Chemistry majors (and Chemistry faculty) from Simmons College. On Saturday, I went to Ben and Brad’s house (they’re the ones that helped clean out Regina’s condo) and we watched DVD’s and they cooked dinner. On Sunday morning I had brunch with Mark (who picked me up and brought me to his place and fed me bagels, salmon, and fresh fruit). Then Rich came over Sunday night for dinner.

I’m now really looking forward to spending most of next week on Cape Cod. I’m worn out and could use a break! Before then, though, I’ve got a few more dinners and lunches I’m looking forward to (Hey, Will, Heath and Vito!). Oh, and on Wednesday night I’m supposed to go the amateur porn festival at the Coolidge Corner Theatre. This is a semi-annual event in Boston and I’ve never gone. Basically, local residents film themselves having sex and then submit them to be shown with other people’s submissions. At the end of the evening, the video (or DVD) is ceremoniously destroyed. It’s hugely popular. I don’t think invitations were sent to Jerry Falwell or G.W. Bush.

I’m overwhelmed at my popularity right now (sarcasm). Actually, I think I’m just making up for lost time.
