Come On!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kool and the Gang never popped by, but my parents did manage to surprise me with some Boston Creme Pie for my birthday while I was visiting with them over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"284\" alt=\"cake.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/snarl\/files\/2006\/05\/cake.jpg\" width=\"376\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I was feeling like crap the entire weekend. My poor parents. You know it&#8217;s bad when Mom and Dad&#8230;approaching their mid-to-late 70&#8217;s&#8230;have more energy than you. On the plus side, I got out of walking the dog for most of the weekend. On the downside, I didn&#8217;t even have enough energy to blow out a total of four candles.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"291\" alt=\"blow.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/snarl\/files\/2006\/05\/blow.jpg\" width=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mom did a good job at trying to make me feel better. Even donning an apron to prevent getting chocolate on her clothes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"289\" alt=\"mom cake.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/snarl\/files\/2006\/05\/mom%20cake.jpg\" width=\"393\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I ended up returning to Boston on Sunday afternoon. I met up with Mike and some of his friends for brunch at McKenna&#8217;s, then ran into Veselka Slut (Mark) on the street. Mike and I then headed downtown to run errands (I bought some stlyin&#8217; new footwear, Mike dropped his Mac off to get a new keyboard).<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and I&#8217;m going to make an appointment with my doctor.
