I was all excited this morning to have Tiffany inform me that Brownstone Pet Sitting (a member of Pet Sitters International) was willing to take us on as a client and that she would come by this evening to meet with&nbsp;us and Dusty.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>But hours later she called to cancel because she &#8220;subcontracts&#8221; her services on Tuesdays and her subcontractor is unable to get to our condo easy enough (even though we are in the heart of he city).<\/P><br \/>\n<P>So, we&#8217;re back to square one&#8230;the starting line, starting from scratch. I&#8217;ve contacted what feels like dozens of other pet-sitting companies and am hoping for a rapid response, but so far all I&#8217;ve spoken with are answering machines.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>I never would have guessed that this was such a significant industry in Boston.
