I think that’s my favorite Donna Summer song. It’s so ahead of it’s time – yet so simple. I mean, it’s essentially a synthersizer and one lyric repeated for 6 minutes – which by any other artist (MC Hammer’s ‘Can’t Touch This’, for example) would annoy the shit out of me. But this is one of those songs I could put on my discman, press the repeat option, and listen to over and over for hours. Other songs that qualify for that honor are ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ (Simon and Garfunkel) and ‘Angel’ (Massive Attack).<\/P>

Anyway, today I used “I Feel Love” as my heading because my cyber-neglect has spawned a positive reaction from my readers. I didn’t post anything over the weekend because we were busy on Friday and Saturday, and then I was resting on Sunday to fight my annoying cold. I didn’t update it Monday out of pure laziness.<\/P>

But during that time, I’ve received instant messages and emails from quite a few people saying they’re missing their daily Karl-fix. Apparently, I’m addictive…like caffeine or heroin!
