I never managed to watch it back then, but now it’s appearing on LoGo so I watched 30 minutes or so of it before falling asleep last night.

From what I can gather, there are 4 subjects in this documentary about trans-gendered young people. The two I saw last night were Gabby (Gabbie?) and Raci.

Gabby is a skinny blonde who appears to be in high school. Now, I’m not casting any judgement because I can’t even fathom how difficult it must be to feel like I was born in the wrong body. And I give her credit for dressing like a woman and living her life as she feels she was meant to live.

But, damn, that girl is clingy. I thought my history with dating over this past year had introduced me to clingy people. But this one puts them to shame. She’s ALL OVER her friends. Touching, hugging, pushing and, most often, inexplicably patting them on their heads.

But it was Raci who was in my dreams. Raci is another young transgendered woman taking acting classes. Oh, and she’s also deaf. She’s actually rather attractive and seems really sweet. In this episode, she was rehearsing a scene with a male actor who had no idea the actress he was embracing and kissing was actually a man.

In my dream, I was ordering food from Subway with Raci. That’s it. Nothing scandalous, just bizarre. We were just debating out menu options while waiting in line. HMMM – looking back on it, I think we were on a date.

Oh dear.

I think I need to watch less television.

That’s the only advice I can come up with after last night’s dream.
