You see, last spring a stray cat found its way into my friend, Lise’s life. She never planned on keeping him because she already has two cats of her own. In preparing to to make the cat adoptable, she had him neutured a week or so ago and thought she had found a taker. But while doing the associated blood work, it was discovered that this cat was FIV+ (the feline version of HIV). The potential adopter backed out and Lise is back to square one.<\/P>

“He is the most loving, passive, wonderful cat, I’d love to keep him except for the distress my Misha is in due to his precence. He’s healthy as a horse (and) very striking looking. It is only transmittable to other cats, and even then it has to be a deep, deep bite, not just scratches or nipping. He is an absolute love bug.” <\/P>

Now, I’m not normally a cat person, but even my heart melts when I see his pictures. Then again, it could be that I just came inside to my toasty office after walking in 14 degree temperatures.
