Like most people, I tend to leave mine on the shuffle function. Yet without fail, I seem to always hear the following on a daily basis:<\/P><br \/>\n<UL><br \/>\n<LI>Neil Diamond &#8211; Brother Love&#8217;s Traveling Salvation Show<br \/>\n<LI>Missing Persons &#8211; Words<br \/>\n<LI>Natalie Merchant\/10,000 Maniacs &#8211; well, it just plays something every day&#8230;not necessarily the same song<br \/>\n<LI>Johnny Cash &#8211; I&#8217;m So Lonesome I Could Cry<br \/>\n<LI>The Killers &#8211; Jenny Was&nbsp;a Friend of Mine<\/LI><\/UL><br \/>\n<P>I can understand the frequency of Natalie Merchant and 10,000 Maniacs since I ripped all of their CD&#8217;s onto my iPod. So, by sheer volume, it&#8217;s inevitable they would&nbsp;appear. But I only ripped 3 Killers songs, 1 Missing Persons song and a handful of Neil Diamond songs (stop laughing).<\/P><br \/>\n<P>So with nearly 1,100 songs on my iPod &#8211; I find it peculiar that I hear certain songs on a daily basis. I suppose it&#8217;s a good thing I like those songs.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>OH! And the most recent addition to my iPod song library is Music Box Dancer, by Frank Mills? Remember that song? Rich brought over the CD last weekend and I just had to add it to my collection. I loved that little instrumental\/orchestrated disco ditty when I was a kid. I suppose it sounds rather cheesy now (actually, I know it sounds cheesy&#8230;it&#8217;s nearly as bad as Mannheim Steamroller), but I do love it so. I feel like I&#8217;m 9 again&#8230;pretending to be a radio disk jockey.<\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is it possible for an iPod to have favorites?
