I woke up to maybe an inch or two of snow\u00a0on the ground in the North End. By the time I got to Harvard I had ice pellets bouncing off my head. The really depressing part is that, despite the snow and ice, this has been the warmest morning commute I&#8217;ve had in over a month. Yep &#8211; I was literally sweating out there since I&#8217;m so used to single digits or teens.<\/p>\n<p>28 Degrees felt downright balmy.<\/p>\n<p>Just for shits and giggles, I did\u00a0a little on-line research.<\/p>\n<p>Boston (where I am today):<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Winter Storm Warning in effect until midnight. Snow early&#8230;then freezing rain&#8230;snow&#8230;rain with a chance of sleet this afternoon. Precipitation may be heavy at times. Snow and sleet accumulation of 4 to 8 inches. Windy with highs in the lower 30s. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph&#8230;becoming east 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph this afternoon.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (where I will be Saturday):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday &#8211; mostly sunny, high of 84<\/li>\n<li>Sunday &#8211; mostly sunny, high of 80<\/li>\n<li>Monday &#8211; partly cloudy, high of 83<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday &#8211; chance of showers, high of 84<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday &#8211; sunny, high of 83<\/li>\n<li>Thursday &#8211; partly cloudy, high of 82<\/li>\n<li>Friday &#8211; sunny, high of 82<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Their forecast doesn&#8217;t include the following Saturday and Sunday, but I suspect my last two days in Mexico will be similar to the previous seven days.
