December 21, Amy Lowell Room, Houghton Library<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To mark the centennial of the Russian Revolution, <a href=\"http:\/\/houghton75.org\/exhibitions-list\/\">Houghton Library<\/a> in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/daviscenter.fas.harvard.edu\/\">Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/hcl.harvard.edu\/libraries\/widener\/collections\/slavic.cfm\">Slavic Division<\/a> at Widener Library presents an exhibition showcasing original documents from the period, assembled from its own holdings as well as those of other Harvard Library collections.<\/p>\n<p>This exhibition takes a closer look at the human dimension of the Russian Revolution as reflected in its leaders, their opponents, the thousands of ordinary people of Russia and the American expatriates who witnessed these events first-hand.<\/p>\n<p>The documents from the<a href=\"http:\/\/id.lib.harvard.edu\/aleph\/000602043\/catalog\">\u00a0<em>John Reed Papers, 1903-1967<\/em><\/a>, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/id.lib.harvard.edu\/aleph\/000602232\/catalog\">Leon Trotsky Soviet papers, 1904-1959<\/a><\/em>, <em>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hollis.harvard.edu\/primo_library\/libweb\/action\/search.do?vl(freeText0)=Russian+Revolutionary+Literature+&amp;vl(51615747UI0)=lsr38&amp;vl(394521272UI1)=all_items&amp;vl(1UI0)=exact&amp;fn=search&amp;tab=everything&amp;mode=Basic&amp;vid=HVD&amp;scp.scps=scope%3a(HVD_FGDC)%2cscope%3a(HVD)%2cscope%3a(HVD_VIA)%2cprimo_central_multiple_fe&amp;ct=lateralLinking\">Russian revolutionary literature<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and other special collections are on display at Amy Lowell Room of Houghton Library until December 21, 2017.
