Instead let me note that the English Wikipedia <i><a href=\"http:\/\/meta.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/Wikimedia_press_releases\/500%2C000_English_articles_%28int%27l%29\">reached its 500,000th article<\/a><\/i> yesterday, about the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Involuntary_settlements_in_the_Soviet_Union\">Involuntary settlements in the Soviet Union<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>Articles were being written at a much higher rate then usual today,  peaking at <i>150 per hour<\/i> as the milestone approached.
