{"id":8,"date":"2005-01-17T23:40:20","date_gmt":"2005-01-18T03:40:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/metasj\/2005\/01\/17\/shards-full-of-youth-shards-full-of-tr"},"modified":"2005-01-17T23:40:20","modified_gmt":"2005-01-18T03:40:20","slug":"shards-full-of-youth-shards-full-of-truth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/sj\/2005\/01\/17\/shards-full-of-youth-shards-full-of-truth\/","title":{"rendered":"Shards full of youth, Shards full of truth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name='a732'><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;six<a href=\"https:\/\/normalville.org\/setec\/metasolutions\/neighborhood-3-solution.html\"> PINK TIGHTS<\/a> and one part vermouth!<\/p>\n<p>Two score of us from <a href=\"http:\/\/harvard.edu\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">HBOMB<\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yalesucks.com\">YALE<\/a> did our part to help the<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/normalville.org\/setec\/\">Normalville <\/a>Supers restore normality to their little<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gotfuturama.com\/\">Bender<\/a>&#8216;sHead-shaped VNECK of the woods, IMMOBILIZING the incoming<br \/>\nmeteors, DIMINISHING their effect, and generally struggling on IN THE<br \/>\nHEAT OF<br \/>\nTHE NIGHT.&nbsp; We stressed our collections of SILICON, KEYBOARD KEYs,<br \/>\nand other<br \/>\nSMALL PLASTIC WIDGETs.&nbsp; We turned to strange sources for<br \/>\nhelp; our team of MONKEYS, support crew of DALMATIANS, and HIPPOGRIFF<br \/>\nmascot did their part; even indulging in SPIRIT WRITING and running<br \/>\nscripts on MICROSOFT WINDOWS when necessary.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>The visiting<br \/>\nluminaries gladly provided their OCTROI of victuals &#8212; PASTRIES, dijon<br \/>\nand HEINZ, CONDENSED CANs OF<br \/>\nSOUP, MAGNUMs of coke, and other EDIBLEs provided much-needed mental<br \/>\nAUGMENTATION over the long weekend.&nbsp; We fell in love, variously,<br \/>\nwith AGNETHA FAALUSKOG and <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Miss December<\/span>&#8230; and all agreed, with<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">DIPLOMACY<\/span>, that had we truly mastered the power of TIME TRAVEL, we<br \/>\nwould go back in time and do it again.<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> <\/span><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;six PINK TIGHTS and one part vermouth!
