The catchiest tune of last decade that you’ve never heard of : Bananaphone<\/span><\/a>, by Raffi<\/span><\/a>,
\ncreator of such standbys as “C-A-N-A-D-A” and “Cowlit Night.” 
\nSince remixed into a whole passle of fabulous pieces, such as a
\nwell-known flash-badger animation<\/a> (badger animation via Lemonizer) .<\/font><\/font>  <\/p>\n

Why do I bring this up?  It isn’t my latent desire to expose
\nyou 
\nto today’s best music?  I heard the badger-version of the song a
\nlong time ago, and thought nothing of it.  But I just discovered
\nDave Teatro’s disturbing and awful
\nexplanation of the rest of the bananaphone story<\/a>
\n(violently absurdist flash animation via Newgrounds<\/span>), which includes a
\nlot more of the original song, with excellent sound quality (and not
\nsped-up high-pitched voices).  <\/p>\n

And it is the most distressingly catchy song I’ve ever heard…  the kind
\nthat you start dancing to before you realize with horror that under no
\ncircumstances should you even be
\nlistening to it in the first place.  It’s probably safest if you
\ndon’t even read the lyrics.<\/p>\n
