{"id":184,"date":"2005-08-31T20:50:46","date_gmt":"2005-09-01T00:50:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/metasj\/2005\/08\/31\/blog-day\/"},"modified":"2005-08-31T20:50:46","modified_gmt":"2005-09-01T00:50:46","slug":"blog-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/sj\/2005\/08\/31\/blog-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Blog Day!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name='a1012'><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today is one of 365 special days each year dedicated to broadening your view of the world.<br \/>\nThis happens to be a day when everyone jumps on the bandwagon, and I&#8217;ve<br \/>\nsaid recently I would join all y&#8217;all for the hay-ride.&nbsp; So here&#8217;s a<br \/>\nspecial post to stay in the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Blogday2005\">blog day<\/a> spirit of things.<\/p>\n<p>There are many great blogs around the world to point you; to narrow<br \/>\ndown the field, I&#8217;ve tried to limit myself to blogs that are inherently<br \/>\nmultilingual, or devoted to wikis.&nbsp; (Here I avoid the ones that show up in the excellent African<br \/>\naggregator in the sidebar; I&#8217;ll do a separate post on developing world blogs, and plug the <a href=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu:8080\/globalvoices\/wiki\/index.php\/Bridge_Blog_Index\">Bridge Blog<\/a> Index, et. al.).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eibar.org\/blogak\/luistxo\/eu\">Luistxo<\/a> (in Basque, et al) &#8212; discussions of technology and openness from Basque country<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/i.hoder.com\/\">Hoder<\/a><br \/>\n(in Persian &amp; English) &#8212; all sorts of mad thoughts on society,<br \/>\ntechnology, law or culture; especially regarding Iran.&nbsp; [NB: not<br \/>\nvery comment-friendly&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/sj\">sj<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.isaacmao.com\/meta\/\">Meta<\/a><br \/>\n(in Chinese &amp; English) &#8212; possibly the best blog title ever.&nbsp;<br \/>\nmany interesting political, social, and technological ideas see first<br \/>\nlight here<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/jezwegierski.blox.pl\/html;jsessionid=1943CEF596BBD97B96D8AFE2D1C8C75E.tomcat2\">Je&#380; W&#281;gierski<\/a> (Polish mainly) &#8212; the reason I&#8217;m learning Polish.&nbsp; \n  <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/hotmaps.frozenbear.com\/\">Frisco love<\/a> (In all the world&#8217;s tongues.&nbsp; Dubbed in English.)&nbsp; Hmm, how did that get in there?<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mathiasschindler.de\/index.php\">Work in progress<\/a> (German mainly) &#8212; more about Brockhaus and encyclopedias than even I can shake a stick at<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/wm.sieheauch.de\/\">Wikimetrics <\/a>(English mainly) &#8212; a perfect blog title.&nbsp; Delightful images, research, and prose.&nbsp; \n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is one of 365 special days each year dedicated to broadening your view of the world.
