Now if only journalists would <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">stop <\/span>producing content that is similarly mindless and easily confused with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.radarmagazine.com\">pulp<\/a>&#8230;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>The best concise articles on the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Plame affair<\/span>, despite recent coverage, remain ones written <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">back in 2003<\/span> (like this slightly anti-administration<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/3129941\/site\/newsweek\/page\/3\/\">Newsweek piece<\/a>).<br \/>\nYou would think some busybody would have improved on them by now.&nbsp; If<br \/>\nyou know of another good <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">overview <\/span>article, particularly a pro-administration one for good measure, please<br \/>\nleave a link to it.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>At least we now have a fairly encyclopedic overview of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Karl_Rove#Valerie_Plame_scandal\">the case vis-a-vis Rove<\/a>, and a decent <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Valerie_Plame#Timeline\">timeline<\/a>.&nbsp;<br \/>\nBut the real story isn&#8217;t about Rove or alleged illegality, it&#8217;s about<br \/>\nwhy multiple people in the government (and outside of the<br \/>\nadministration) decided this was an <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">acceptable <\/span>result.&nbsp; Not sexy,<br \/>\nhard to research &#8212; don&#8217;t hold your breath for detailed coverage this decade.&nbsp; Just snag a copy of Pravin&#8217;s 2017 &#8220;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Global Politics in Turn-of-the-Century America<\/span>&#8221;
