{"id":4,"date":"2006-05-25T11:30:38","date_gmt":"2006-05-25T15:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/sethinca\/2006\/05\/25\/always-check-wikipedia\/"},"modified":"2006-05-25T11:39:52","modified_gmt":"2006-05-25T15:39:52","slug":"always-check-wikipedia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/sethinca\/2006\/05\/25\/always-check-wikipedia\/","title":{"rendered":"Always check Wikipedia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, according to the Wikipedia entry on <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/David_Dreier\">David Dreier<\/a>, Russ Warner isn&#8217;t the only Democratic challenger in CA-26. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.matthews4congress.com\/home.html\">Cynthia Matthews<\/a>, who garnered an impressive 43% to Dreier&#8217;s 55% in 2004, seems to be running too, or at least, that&#8217;s what her terrible website led me to believe.<\/p>\n<p>Back before firedoglake was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.firedoglake.com\/\">firedoglake<\/a>, she had a great <a href=\"http:\/\/timoteo.dailykos.com\/storyonly\/2004\/12\/4\/153120\/059\">write-up of the campaign<\/a> on Daily Kos. Outrage over immigration was a major issue in 2004, and is sure to be in 2006.<br \/>\n43% is spectular, considering how much Dreier outspent her, and also considering this: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rawstory.com\/exclusives\/byrne\/david_dreier_cynthia_matthews_outed_outing_gay_926.htm\">Rep. David Dreier&#8217;s challenger says she&#8217;s a lesbian,                              and blasts Dreier&#8217;s gay positions<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So anyone know if Cynthia is running?
