{"id":11,"date":"2005-08-29T02:09:01","date_gmt":"2005-08-29T06:09:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/sebastianarana\/2005\/08\/29\/peoma-para-hombres\/"},"modified":"2005-08-29T02:09:01","modified_gmt":"2005-08-29T06:09:01","slug":"peoma-para-hombres","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/sebastianarana\/2005\/08\/29\/peoma-para-hombres\/","title":{"rendered":"Peoma para Hombres"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name='a35'><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Men Do Cry<\/p>\n<p>Ken Falk<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">TCF Northwestern Connecticut\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">I heard quite often &#8220;men don&#8217;t cry&#8221;<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Though no one ever told me why<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; So when I fell and skinned a knee<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; No one came to comfort me.<\/p>\n<p>And when some bully boy at school<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Would pull a prank so mean and cruel<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I&#8217;d quickly learn to turn and quip,<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &#8220;It doesn&#8217;t hurt&#8221; and bite my lip.<\/p>\n<p>So as I grew to reasoned years<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I learned to stifle any tears.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Though &#8220;Be a big boy&#8221; it began,<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Quite soon I learned to &#8220;Be a man.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And I could play that stoic role<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; While storm and tempest wracked my soul.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; No pain or setback could there be<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Could wrest one single tear from me.<\/p>\n<p>Then one long night I stood nearby<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; And helplessly watched my son die.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; And quickly found to my surprise<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; That all that tearless talk was lies.<\/p>\n<p>And still I cry and have no shame<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I cannot play that &#8220;big boy&#8221; game,<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; And openly, without remorse<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I let my sorrow take its course.<\/p>\n<p>So those of you who can&#8217;t abide<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A man you&#8217;ve seen who&#8217;s often cried,<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Reach out to him with all your heart<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; As one whose life&#8217;s been torn apart.<\/p>\n<p>For men do cry when they can see<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Their loss of immortality.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; And tears will come in endless streams<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; When mindless fate destroys their dreams.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Los Hombres Lloran<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Ken Falk\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">TCF Northwestern Connecticut\n<\/div>\n<p>\nHe escuchado frecuentemente &#x201C;los hombres no lloran&#x201D;<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Aunque nadie me dijo porque<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Entonces cuando yo me ca<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Men Do Cry Ken Falk TCF Northwestern Connecticut I heard quite often &#8220;men don&#8217;t cry&#8221; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Though no one ever told me why &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; So when I fell and skinned a knee &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; No one came to comfort me.
