Scientists in physics, chemistry, biology, engineering and related fields are encouraged to apply.  The fellows are supported by the Institute for five years.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Richards launched the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rowland.harvard.edu\/rjf\/richards\/index.html\">Propulsion Physiology Lab<\/a> to explore the physiology of &#8220;swimming machines,&#8221; with frog mechanics as a model.  Among his group&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rowland.harvard.edu\/rjf\/richards\/projects.html\">activities<\/a> is to design a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rowland.harvard.edu\/rjf\/richards\/Project2.html\">robotic frog<\/a> (&#8220;frobotics&#8221;.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rowland.harvard.edu\/rjf\/sato\/sato.php\">Yuki Sato <\/a> leads the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rowland.harvard.edu\/rjf\/sato\/sato.php\"> Applied Superfluidity Group<\/a>, focusing on novel superfluid matter interferometry devices.<\/p>\n<p>Both the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rowland.harvard.edu\/rjf\/richards\/apply.html\">Richards<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rowland.harvard.edu\/rjf\/sato\/cmembers.php\">Sato <\/a>labs offer employment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Rowland is accepting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rowland.harvard.edu\/rjf\/images\/RJF_2010.pdf\">applications<\/a> for new Junior Fellows through November 30, 2009.
