{"id":351,"date":"2004-10-18T12:46:46","date_gmt":"2004-10-18T16:46:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/rihlib\/2004\/10\/18\/blogging-and-feeds-for-sla\/"},"modified":"2012-05-07T15:33:32","modified_gmt":"2012-05-07T19:33:32","slug":"blogging-and-feeds-for-sla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/rihlib\/2004\/10\/18\/blogging-and-feeds-for-sla\/","title":{"rendered":"Blogging and Feeds for SLA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name='a280'><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A group of us are presenting at an SLA workshop later this month.&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe topic is Blogging and Feeds.&nbsp; I&#8217;m talking about this blog and<br \/>\nmy experiences with it.&nbsp; Jessica Baumgart, of <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/jkbaumga\/\">j&#8217;s scratchpad<\/a>,<br \/>\nhas done an enormous amount of work to promote weblogs, especially in<br \/>\nlibraries, particularly through her own blog.&nbsp; Shimon Rura and<br \/>\nJosh Ain are presenting on the weblog content management system they<br \/>\ncall <a href=\"http:\/\/frassle.net\/\">Frassle<\/a>.&nbsp; It&#8217;s a massive<br \/>\npiece of work, their slogan is &#8220;never be bored again.&#8221; You can assign<br \/>\nmultiple categories to a post or item or bookmark, for example.&nbsp;<br \/>\nEvidently they have more than 350 users.&nbsp; I saw a demo of the<br \/>\nsystem earlier this year and am interested in how it has evolved.&nbsp;<br \/>\nHaven&#8217;t been to Mt.
