Read the fine print or ask, since it may vary, but you should be able to save some 20$ per day on each rental in insurance.  If you rent, check <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enterprise.com\">Enterprise<\/a> (they pick you up, so the location is not an issue; they also have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enterprise.com\/car_rental\/deeplinkmap.do?bid=002&amp;cust=XZHARVP&amp;referedPage=multiDivOffer\">discounts<\/a> for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.campustravel.com\/university\/harvard\/\">Harvard <\/a> community sometimes; also look for their weekend specials as low as 10$ per day during the academic year &#8211; the branch itself is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Enterprise+Rent-A-Car\/@42.387855,-71.14046,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89e3705dd5c828fd:0x376b1b8c45e8de03\">near the Fresh Pond<\/a>) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thrifty.com\">Thrifty<\/a> (located in Harvard Square). For local driving, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zipcar.com\">ZipCar<\/a> offers an interesting alternative. It will help if you bring your <strong>clean driving record confirmation<\/strong> from back home. A really good and much cheaper alternative is <a href=\"https:\/\/relayrides.com\/\">RelayRides<\/a>, which is a form of private car sharing.
