Olin Institute for Strategic Studies\u00a0at Harvard University. <em>(The project is presently <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/mesh\/about_mesh\/mesh-in-hibernation\/\" target=\"_self\">in hiatus<\/a>.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>MESH is a community of scholars and practitioners who are interested in the formulation of U.S. strategic options for the Middle East. Since 9\/11 and the Iraq war, the Middle East has occupied a place of primacy in debates over U.S. global aims and strategies. MESH brings together some of the most original thinkers in academe, research centers, and government, in a public multi-expert <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/mesh\/\">weblog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>MESH is convened by <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/mesh\/members\/stephen_peter_rosen\/\">Stephen Peter Rosen<\/a>, director of the National Security Studies Program, and <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/mesh\/members\/martin_kramer\/\">Martin Kramer<\/a>, senior fellow in the Program. The conveners select MESH members, all of whom enjoy blogging privileges at MESH. Substantive comments are invited from members and other analysts.
