{"id":269,"date":"2009-04-20T17:09:40","date_gmt":"2009-04-20T22:09:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/mediarepublic\/?p=269"},"modified":"2013-05-20T08:56:36","modified_gmt":"2013-05-20T13:56:36","slug":"media-in-transition-mit6-at-mit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/mediarepublic\/2009\/04\/20\/media-in-transition-mit6-at-mit\/","title":{"rendered":"Media in Transition (MiT6 at MIT)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/mediarepublic\/files\/2009\/04\/henryjenkinssquared.jpg\" alt=\"HJ\" width=\"353\" height=\"494\" \/>I&#8217;m honored (not to mention intimidated) to be joining a panel with some of my favorite super-smart people (<a href=\"http:\/\/ellenhume.com\/\">Ellen Hume<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerforsocialmedia.org\/about\/staff\/paufder\/\">Pat Aufderheide<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buildtheecho.net\/\">Jessica Clark<\/a>, rock star* <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jakeshapiro.com\/\">Jake Shapiro<\/a> plus <a href=\"http:\/\/www.getmiro.com\/blog\/\">Dean Jansen<\/a> whom I don&#8217;t know yet but am sure is also very cool) at the <a href=\"http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/comm-forum\/mit6\/subs\/agenda.html\">Media in Transition<\/a> conference on Friday evening in Cambridge. The conference runs at MIT this Thursday &#8211; Sunday and it is so jammed with interesting presentation that my brain is spinning just reading the <a href=\"http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/comm-forum\/mit6\/subs\/abstracts.html\">abstracts<\/a>.  I hope I can find a few things from my oddball pragmatist int&#8217;l development perspective that will be interesting to these folks.
