Dave Herlihy currently teaches music industry classes at Northeastern University<\/a> and operates his own\u00a0practice<\/a>\u00a0specializing in\u00a0entertainment law, intellectual property, copyright, trademark, licensing, and new media.<\/p>\n

But twenty-five years ago he was the lead singer of O Positive<\/a>, a Boston-area band poised on the brink of a major label record deal.<\/p>\n

Friend of the show, Assistant Director of Harvard Law School’s Cyberlaw Clinic, and lecturer at Harvard Law School Chris Bavitz<\/a> interviewed Dave about his band\u2019s trajectory from being the \u201cbest band in the basement\u201d to appearing on the Billboard charts (and what came after).<\/p>\n
