I didn&#8217;t even get close.<\/p>\n<p>It was a great idea that I simply couldn&#8217;t complete.  But that doesn&#8217;t mean it has to die.<\/p>\n<p>Through the conference this year there was a definite theme.  And I&#8217;m not talking about javascript. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/bscofield\">@benscofield<\/a> gave an <a href=\"http:\/\/igniterailsconf.com\/speakers\/672-ben-scofield\">ignite talk<\/a> where he said, the way to be awesome is to:  <\/p>\n<p>START LOTS OF STUFF<\/p>\n<p>Now, I am awesome.  And I am awesome at starting lots of great stuff.  And sometimes I finish it too.  Particularly, if there is the possibility that I may be fired if I don&#8217;t.  But <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/bscofield\">@benscofield<\/a> also said:<\/p>\n<p>QUIT ON STUFF<\/p>\n<p>You have to Know Your Limits as <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/eliseworthy\">@eliseworthy<\/a> said.  And since <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/BrianDoll\">@briandoll<\/a> pointed out that <a href=\"http:\/\/igniterailsconf.com\/speakers\/678-brian-doll\">the ultimate productivity hack is having kids<\/a>, I&#8217;ve decided to take this project in a new direction.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s no fun <a href=\"http:\/\/en.oreilly.com\/rails2011\/public\/schedule\/detail\/20830\">practicing being awesome<\/a> alone.
