{"id":37,"date":"2004-04-03T00:27:22","date_gmt":"2004-04-03T04:27:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/jith\/recipe-mattar-paneer\/"},"modified":"2004-04-03T00:27:22","modified_gmt":"2004-04-03T04:27:22","slug":"recipe-mattar-paneer","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/jith\/recipe-mattar-paneer\/","title":{"rendered":"Recipe: Mattar Paneer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name='a111'><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n<b>Serves 2<\/p>\n<p><\/b><b><u><br \/>\nIngredients:<\/u><\/b>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>1 large (or 2 medium) tomatoes, chopped well<br \/>\n    <\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1 large (or 2 medium) onions, diced finely<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>2 Tbsp oil<br \/>\n<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1 cup peas<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Dozen cashews<br \/>\n    <\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1\/4 tsp allspice<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1\/4 tsp turmeric<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1\/2 tsp cayenne<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1 heaping tsp coriander<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1 heaping tsp cumin<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>2 heaping tsp ginger<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>2 heaping tsp garlic<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1-2 heaping tsp salt<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Few sprigs cilantro<br \/>\n<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1\/2 brick paneer<br \/>\n    <\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><u>Preparation:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Slice paneer and fry in a little oil until firm<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Add oil to hot wok<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Transluce onions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Add spices, mix, and cook<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Add ginger &amp; garlic, mix, and cook<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Add tomatoies, mix, and cook<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Put in blender<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Add cashew &amp; cilantro<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Blend<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Back in wok on high heat.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Add salt. [Add peas if fresh]<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Cover and cook.
