{"id":36,"date":"2004-04-02T17:51:56","date_gmt":"2004-04-02T21:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/jith\/recipe-quinoa-with-broccoli\/"},"modified":"2004-04-02T17:51:56","modified_gmt":"2004-04-02T21:51:56","slug":"recipe-quinoa-with-broccoli","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/jith\/recipe-quinoa-with-broccoli\/","title":{"rendered":"Recipe: Quinoa with Broccoli"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name='a110'><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Serves 2<\/p>\n<p><\/b><b><u><br \/>\nIngredients:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>1 cup white quinoa<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1 cup broccoli, chopped into very small pieces (use florets and center of stalk)<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>3 Tbs tamari soy sauce<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1-2 tsp olive oil<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>2 tsp parsley<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1\/8 tsp crushed basil<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1\/8 tsp dill weed<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>1\/8 tsp paprika or cumin<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Salt and cayenne to taste<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><u>Preparation:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Rinse quinoa in cool water.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Put quinoa in 2.5 &#8211; 3 cups water and bring to boil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Skim off foam<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Turn heat to low, add broccoli, and simmer till cooked<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">While quinoa is cooking, add remaining ingredients to saucepan.
