My flatmate and I found it on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.craigslist.com\/\">Craigslist<\/a> (What can&#8217;t you find there?). It&#8217;s no Steinway, but for the price tag, it exceeded my expectations. The piano is a console model by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qrsmusic.com\/storyclark.asp\">Story &amp; Clark<\/a>. Its range of tone isn&#8217;t too shabby, though the piano would benefit from some service.<\/p>\n<p>In a previous life, I was a music major and piano man. I&#8217;m now a graduate student in English Literature. With little time to practice, I&#8217;ve shifted my attention from pyrotechnics to the pursuit of tone, which is less time-consuming and more promising a goal for an amateur like myself.
