Nanavati is also probing the Gujarat carnage of 2002.&nbsp; In the Gujarat investigation, Justice Nanavati is working with Justice (Retd.) Shah.&nbsp; They have <\/FONT><A href=\"http:\/\/www.hindu.com\/2004\/04\/13\/stories\/2004041305181100.htm\"><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">asked the victims<\/FONT><\/A><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\"> to submit a list of police officers to be examined by them in May:<\/FONT><\/P><br \/>\n<BLOCKQUOTE><br \/>\n<P><EM><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">Rejecting the arguments of the government counsel that policemen who filed affidavits could not be examined by advocates appearing on behalf of the victims, the commission directed the victims&#8217; advocate to prepare and submit by April 30 a fresh list of all policemen he wanted to examine, including the former Commissioner, P.C.
