<\/FONT><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\"><A href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/jaskaran\/OI-Nanavati-2003-12-08\">Outlook India<\/A><\/FONT><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\"> writes:<\/FONT><\/P><br \/>\n<BLOCKQUOTE><br \/>\n<P><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">The Nanavati Commission, probing the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, today asked senior Congress leaders Jagish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar and Pondicherry IGP U K Katna and other noticees to reply by January nine to the evidence brought against them on record by the witnesses.<\/FONT><\/P><\/BLOCKQUOTE><br \/>\n<P><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">The Nanavati Commission also <\/FONT><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\"><A href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/jaskaran\/DG-Nanavati-2003-12-09\">extended the reply deadline<\/A><\/FONT><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\"> for other police officers and politicians it had summoned earlier.<\/FONT><\/P><br \/>\n<P><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">Recently, the Indian Supreme Court also <\/FONT><A href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/jaskaran\/HT-Nanavati-2003-12-07\"><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\">criticized<\/FONT><\/A><FONT face=\"Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-Serif\" size=\"2\"> the central government\/Delhi police for withdrawing a case originating from the crimes committed during these pogroms.&nbsp;
