mind expansion.<\/p>\n<p><em><\/em>Identification of mushrooms is hardly a new concept as seen by the German publication <em>Naturgeschichte des Pflanzenreiches in Bildern<\/em>\u00a0by <a href=\"http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/b3xz4ym\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Gotthilf Heinrich von Schubert<\/a>. \u00a0 \u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/houghtonmodern\/files\/2013\/01\/plants_fungus.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1725\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/houghtonmodern\/files\/2013\/01\/plants_fungus-1024x735.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"468\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/houghtonmodern\/files\/2013\/01\/plants_fungus-1024x735.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/houghtonmodern\/files\/2013\/01\/plants_fungus-300x215.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Schubert was a 19th-century German physician, naturalist, and professor in Munich.\u00a0 <em>Naturgeschichte des Pflanzenreiches in Bildern<\/em> is the botanical part of a textbook set, <em>Lehrbuch der Naturgeschichte, <\/em>that includes additonal plates.<em><\/em>\u00a0 The beautiful hand-colored lithographic plates help to identify and educate the reader to also expand their mind&#8230;
