\n One aggravation when using Thunderbird AND Mail.app together on an IMAP
\n account is making sure that they use the same folder for sent messages.
\n By default, Thunderbird wants to put it in INBOX\/Sent<\/b> while
\n Mail.app wants to put it in INBOX\/Sent Messages<\/b>. Mail.app under Tiger
\n does not seem to let you set the particular folder for sent messages. It
\n only defaults to Sent Messages for IMAP.\n <\/p>\n

\n Luckily, Thunderbird is far more configureable so it allows you set the
\n particular folder for sent messages. Solution: Make sure Thunderbird
\n points to INBOX\/Sent Messages<\/b> for its version of the Sent folder
\n or else you’ll end up having issues like I had where the sent messages
\n for Thunderbird and Mail.app were different which caused quite a bit
\n of head scratching.\n <\/p>\n
