It won the 2002 Oscar for <span>Best Foreign Language Film<\/span> and is seen by many to be the most beautiful movie made by a German studio in the last decade.<\/p>\n<p>Nirgendwo in Afrika<br \/>\nFriday, March 5<br \/>\n7:30-10:00<br \/>\nBarker 133 (Plimpton Room)<br \/>\nIn the Humanities Center<\/p>\n<p>The film follows a Jewish family that moves to a farm in <span>Kenya<\/span> in the 1930s. History, drama, a fascinating collision of cultures, and beautiful cinematography of the Kenyan landscape!<br \/>\nThis movie won all of the major German film prizes in addition to the Oscar!
