I know that with alternative medicine that may not be the case, however I was reading about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.health-forums.org\/infant-care\/257-what-baby-oil-should-i-use-newborn-babys-head.html\">cradle cap<\/a> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.health-forums.org\">Health Forum<\/a> and correlated that the same oil techniques that my own mother used on me are still in practice today.  I started thinking of what other practices are still in use and which are debunked.  One debunked wives tale is that you can&#8217;t shave with a razor on your face or it will grow back thicker.
