The Technical University of Munich Is Not a Terror School \u2013 42<\/p>\n
\u201cSo Murat Kara\u2019s story would be the story of the successful integration of a foreigner into German society, if it weren\u2019t for two details that spoil it.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is, for example, the matter of a German passport and naturalization. Kara says that Berlin is his city and Germany his country \u2013 it\u2019s become his homeland. For that reason he renounced Turkish citizenship six years ago and applied for German citizenship. However, the authorities didn’t want to give it to him. Because of one trivial detail after another, the responsible bureaucrats kept putting him off for two and a half years.
