It is now only thirty-seven places behind China\u2019s Tsinghua University (ranked 50 in the world), only thirty places behind the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (ranked 57 in the world), only forty-two places behind Peking University (ranked 45 in the world), only sixty-one places behind the National University of Singapore (ranked 26 in the world), only twenty-seven places behind Korea\u2019s Pohang University of Science and Technology (ranked 60 in the world), and, for another comparison, only eighty-two places behind the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (ranked 5 in the world).
