The Technical University of Munich* \u2013 In Wurzburg, Germany, You Can Just Pay a Professor to Write Your Dissertation \u2013 2<\/p>\n
Between 1998 and 2005, of the dissertations submitted to the Institute for the History of Medicine at the University of Wurzburg, there were around twenty that did not meet even the minimum level of research standards, even though doctorates were awarded for them. This fact was confirmed by outside experts whom the university assigned to investigate the problem after the first doubts arose regarding the quality of doctoral dissertations at the institute.
