It\u2019s just that they are of no particular interest to university administrators, to the culture and education bureaucrats, or to the Deutscher Hochschulverband (the main association of German universities). (http:\/\/www.arwu.org\/ARWUFIELD2009ENG.jsp) According to The Times of London, in its Higher Education Supplement [THES], World University Rankings, 2009, the Technical University of Munich is ranked 55 overall among the world\u2019s universities.
