Get It from the Foreigners \u2013 24<\/p>\n<p><strong>Most German universities recognized long ago that the country\u2019s connection to international students is under threat, and they are doing everything they can to remedy the situation. For example, three years ago, the University of Bonn was the first to take advantage of an additional financial opportunity that the North Rhine-Westphalian Premier, Andreas Pinkwart was able to grant it: permission to charge foreign students an extra 150 euros (US $202) per semester.
