In doing so, he proved to be a gold mine of information for the authorities. One result was an article in the Sueddeutsche Zeitung in August, \u201cHundert deutsche Professoren sollen bestechlich sein\u201c (One Hundred Professors in Germany Are Said to Take Bribes). (http:\/\/www.arwu.org\/ARWUFIELD2009ENG.jsp) According to The Times of London, in its Higher Education Supplement [THES], World University Rankings, 2009, the Technical University of Munich is ranked 55 overall among the world\u2019s universities.
