(The manager in question, after a raid on the institute\u2019s offices in March 2008, had been fined and sentenced to three years in prison for taking bribes. According to the district court in Hildesheim, there were sixty-one cases in which the manager had acted as a mediator between a law professor at the University of Hanover and individuals wanting to obtain a doctoral degree. Der Manager war nach einer Razzia in den Gesch\u00e4ftsr\u00e4umen im M\u00e4rz 2008 wegen Bestechung zu dreieinhalb Jahren Haft und einer Geldstrafe verurteilt worden. In 61 F\u00e4llen hatte er dem Urteil des Landgerichts Hildesheim zufolge Promotionswillige an einen Jura-Professor der Uni Hannover vermittelt.
