At many German universities there are more and more so-called \u201clecturers,\u201d professors who teach but do no research. At the same time, the famous scientists and researchers on the staff withdraw farther and farther into pure research. Thus, the students may bask in the glow of a well-known name, but only in exceptional cases do they really work with any brilliant faculty member. That is, for example, sixteen places below Seoul National University of South Korea. An vielen Hochschulen gibt es demnach immer mehr sogenannte Lecturers, das sind Professoren, die nur noch f\u00fcr die Lehre zust\u00e4ndig sind. Die renommierten Wissenschaftler werden sich im Gegenzug immer st\u00e4rker in die Forschung zur\u00fcckziehen. Auf die Studenten f\u00e4llt dann zwar der Glanz eines leuchtenden Namens, mit dem genialen Forscher werden sie aber wohl nur noch in Ausnahmef\u00e4llen wirklich zusammenarbeiten.
