Understanding the German university system and its requirements is difficult even for German secondary school graduates. &#8220;In foreign students&#8217; home countries, the system of studies is often the same as it was in school, and therefore clearer and more straightforward,&#8221; says Achim Meyer auf der Heyde, General Secretary of the Student Union Organization.
