The General Committee of Students at Mainz has accused the university administration of being afraid of becoming involved in a lawsuit with Matthes, the extreme right-wing NPD activist, and therefore not dealing with the matter energetically enough. University Vice-President Juergen Oldenstein emphatically disagrees: \u201cIn such cases, every step we take has to be carefully thought through.
