Did you ever witness any violence directed toward the prisoners?<\/p>\n<p>Zaidenstadt: No. On the contrary, I was once present when my father asked a guard if he could give the prisoners a few potatoes or slices of bread. The man answered by saying he would look the other way for a moment. My father then shoved some food in through a broken part of the wooden fence. Wurden Sie nie Zeuge von Gewaltakten?<\/p>\n<p>Zaidenstadt: Nein. Einmal erlebte ich sogar, wie mein Vater einen der Wachposten fragte, ob er nicht ein paar Kartoffeln oder ein paar Scheiben Brot f\u00fcr die H\u00e4ftlinge hinlegen d\u00fcrfe. Da hat der Posten geantwortet, dass er jetzt kurz wegschaut. Mein Vater hat die Sachen zwischen das geschlagene Holz reingeschoben.
