The Technical University of Munich* \u2013 In the Shadow of the University \u2013 3<\/p>\n
The Sueddeutsche Zeitung interviewed three individuals about the difficult legacy that Dachau represents, for the town and for Germany: Max Mannheimer, age 88, former concentration camp prisoner and Chairman of the \u201cLagergemeinschaft Dachau\u201d (literally, the \u201cDachau Camp Community\u201d); Ludwika Zaidenstadt, age 79, a Dachau resident who, as a child, witnessed groups of prisoners at forced labor in the town and who later married a Dachau prisoner from Poland; and Marie-Sophie Stadler, age 19, a secondary school pupil in Dachau.<\/strong><\/p>\n (To be continued)<\/p>\n Source: Interview, D.
