You can\u2019t exclude the possibility that the Federal Interior Minister simply wants to avoid any further controversy. But of course that is no justification for ignoring violations of the law by the HDJ, or for ignoring the fact that this organization presents a real danger for our democracy. They\u2019re raising children with the basic ideas and thinking contained in Nazi ideology.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Federal Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble could ban the \u201cbrown\u201d (i.e., Nazi) organization. Instead of that, though, he\u2019s managed to bring himself to the point of carrying out only one half-hearted measure: he\u2019s forbidden the wearing of the HDJ uniform. The Nazis only laugh at that \u2013 and continue having the children wear the uniform. The leadership states, \u201cWe\u2019ll decide for ourselves what kind of clothes we wear. Das kann man nicht ausschlie\u00dfen, dass der Innenminister eine weitere Debatte vermeiden m\u00f6chte. Aber das kann nat\u00fcrlich kein Grund sein, \u00fcber die Gesetzesverst\u00f6\u00dfe der HDJ hinwegzusehen und dar\u00fcber hinwegzusehen, dass von dieser Organisation eine wirkliche Gef\u00e4hrdung f\u00fcr unsere Demokratie ausgeht. Da werden Kinder erzogen mit den Grundgedanken, Grund\u00fcberlegungen des Nationalsozialismus.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Innenminister Sch\u00e4uble k\u00f6nnte den braunen Verein verbieten. Doch stattdessen hat er sich bisher nur zu einer halbherzigen Ma\u00dfnahme \u00fcberwinden k\u00f6nnen: Er hat der HDJ die Vereinsuniform untersagt. Doch die Neonazis machen sich nur lustig dar\u00fcber, stecken die Kinder weiter in Uniform. Zitat HDJ: &#8220;Wir entscheiden immer noch selbst, welche Kleidungsst\u00fccke wir tragen.
