Susanne Luedtke from the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst or German Academic Exchange Service) says, \u2018The Netherlands quickly changed all its universities over to the new system, completely. Universities there were thus able to avoid the confusing situation that we have in Germany, where the old degree programs still exist side by side with the new bachelor and master\u2019s programs. Das hat den Hochschulen die Un\u00fcbersichtlichkeit erspart, wie wir sie in Deutschland durch das Nebeneinander alter und neuer Abschl\u00fcsse erleben\u00ab, sagt Susanne L\u00fcdtke vom Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst (DAAD).
