I never thought they would just let the whole matter rest \u2013 but right now I have the impression that this is exactly what they\u2019re doing.\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cKONTRASTE Commentary: \u2018But this is isn\u2019t the only case where Neo-Nazis in Saxony have been allowed to do whatever they want.<\/p>\n \u201c \u2018At the beginning of 2007, there came to light a whole collection of data that the Neo-Nazis had compiled. They had put together information on a hundred and fifty people \u2013 all of them individuals who had spoken out against the Neo-Nazis: union members, left-wing activists, even the staff of a school newspaper.<\/p>\n \u201d \u2018Much of this information came straight out of police files: photographs, police videos, even parents\u2019 addresses, and identity card numbers. (Note: Every adult German is required by law to obtain a personal identity card and to carry it at all times.) Several of the people in these Nazi files have already received death threats.<\/p>\n \u201c \u2018 We met with one woman \u2013 who wished to remain anonymous. Von 150 Personen hatten sie Informationen zusammengetragen, alles B\u00fcrger, die \u00f6ffentlich gegen Rechtsextremismus auftreten: Gewerkschafter, linke Aktivisten bis hin zum Mitarbeiter einer Sch\u00fclerzeitung.<\/p>\n \u201e \u201aVieles stammt direkt aus Polizeiakten: Fotos, Aufnahmen aus Polizeivideos, sogar die Adresse von Mutter und Vater, Personalausweisnummern. Mehrere, die in dem Nazi-Dossier auftauchen, haben Morddrohungen bekommen.<\/p>\n \u201e \u201aWir treffen eine junge Frau.
