We found one young man who doesn\u2019t agree. He talks about violence and hatred of foreigners in Muegeln, but he\u2019s afraid. He doesn\u2019t want his face shown on camera \u2013 like most of the people here\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYoung man: \u2018There\u2019s nothing here anymore, no future.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(Journalist:) \u2018Why not?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYoung man: \u2018I just mean that it\u2019s too risky to live here. If I sometimes \u2013 I\u2019ve sometimes come home from a birthday party at two or three in the morning, and they harass you in the square, say or do something stupid. So there\u2019s nothing here.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(Journalist:) \u2018You mean, right-wing guys harass you?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Young man: \u2018Yeah, they\u2019re always around.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(Journalist:) \u2018So you believe there\u2019s a real pattern of thinking behind what they do?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYoung man: \u2018Yeah, they think they\u2019re on the right side and they\u2019re right-wing. And there\u2019s hatred of foreigners in their thinking too. They think, \u201cThe foreigners are taking our work away,\u201d or something like that. Or they think, \u201cWe Germans have to work for nothing, and the foreigners get the money.\u201d That\u2019s what they think.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(Journalist:) \u2018There have been warning signs. The local youth club was reportedly attacked last weekend. Club members told us about it, but they too were afraid to appear on camera. They said they went to the police two weeks ago and asked for help and advice. The police told them just to close the youth club. Ein Jugendlicher widerspricht, berichtet von Gewalt und Ausl\u00e4nderhass. Auch er hat Angst, will nicht vor die Kamera -wie die meisten hier. <\/p>\n<p>O-Ton Jugendlicher: Das ist keine Leben mehr hier, ne ne. <\/p>\n<p>O-Ton Frontal21: Wieso nicht? <\/p>\n<p>O-Ton Jugendlicher: Also ich sag mal, das ist viel zu riskant, hier zu leben. Weil mittlerweile, wenn ich manchmal -ich bin manchmal von \u00b4ner Geburtstagsfete gekommen in der Nacht um zwei, um drei rum, da wurdest du dumm angemacht auf dem Markt. Also das gibt\u2019s nicht. <\/p>\n<p>O-Ton Frontal21: Von Rechten? <\/p>\n<p>O-Ton Jugendlicher: Ja \u2013 so Leute gibt\u2019s immer&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>O-Ton Frontal21: Steckt da \u2019ne richtig rechte Ideologie dahinter? <\/p>\n<p>O-Ton Jugendlicher: Ja, ich w\u00fcrde eher denken: Wir sind rechts, und Ausl\u00e4nderhass. Die Ausl\u00e4nder schnappen uns die Arbeit weg, so ungef\u00e4hr. Wir Deutschen gehen f\u00fcr \u2013 sag ich mal-\u2019nen Hungerbrotlohn arbeiten und die Ausl\u00e4nder kriegen das Geld \u2013 sag ich mal -von hinten bis vorne.<\/p>\n<p>(Journalist:) Es gab Warnungen. Der Jugendclub sollte am Wochenende angegriffen werden. Das berichten Mitarbeiter des Clubs, und auch die wollen anonym bleiben. Sie seien vor zwei Wochen beim Polizeiposten gegen\u00fcber gewesen und h\u00e4tten um Rat gefragt und auch einen bekommen. Zumachen!
